Astragulus is an adaptogen. It is used to regulate excess sweating. Astragulus closes to pores to protect the body from outside invasion. Astragalus indicated in situations of prolapsed organs, lack of vitality, and poor digestion and nutrition. Astragulus is also used when there are recurring illnesses especially ones that are viral infections or ones effecting the lungs. As a vasodilator and cardiotonic, it is also valuable when there is a weakened pulse.
 
Contraindications: none known. Astragulus should not be used during an active infection.
