California Poppy is used for medicinal benefits. California poppy is common used for anxiety and insomnia, especially in those who can’t sleep due to pain. California poppy has anodyne properties and is used for colic, muscle pains, ulcers and sores. California poppy is also used for headache, tooth pain. I suffer from a restless brain at nights, which can impair my sleep and cause headaches however, within a minutes of taking an extract of California poppy and chamomile; I am able to sink into the pillow. 
 
Contraindications: California poppy should not be used with sedatives. California poppy may cause sleepiness or drowsiness.
